Yvette Kemp Positions:

Editor Yvette Kemp graduated from Humboldt State University with a
Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Behavior and a minor in psychology. She has
been an active member of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) for many years and is the president of the San Diego
chapter. As a Senior Hospital Keeper at the San Diego Zoo, where she has worked
for over 15 years, Yvette has been leading the ZooÕs Keeper Enrichment Group.
Through the Group, keepers organize enrichment workshops, Keeper Talks, and
Enrichment Weekends. Yvette is also the North American studbook keeper for Bornean bearded pigs (Sus barbatus barbatus). Return to North
