Author Guidelines for UK
& Ireland Regional Environmental Enrichment Conference Proceedings
The
SHAPE—UK & Ireland committee publish all REEC proceedings which can be downloaded
for free from the Shape of Enrichment Inc. website. It is our policy to publish
the oral presentation, posters, video abstracts, and notes from other major
topics (e.g. panel discussions) occurring during the conference.
These
proceedings are not peer-reviewed. We understand that many authors wish to
publish their scientific papers in a peer-reviewed journal. If that is the
case, please consider submitting an extended abstract for the conference
proceedings.
Guidelines
for authors of papers and posters in this proceedings are below. For more
information, contact the SHAPE—UK & Ireland committee.
Submissions
All
proceedings may be submitted via e-mail or posted to the address below. Please be sure to
include your e-mail, telephone number, and other contact information. All
submissions will be confirmed via email.

Proceedings guidelines
Text
must be submitted in MS Word formatted document. Please do not include headers and footers, page
numbers, or set any text in bold. The only formatting we require is that all
text be typed in Arial Font, size 12, paragraph spacing should remain single and page margins be set to 2cm
for all margins (top, bottom, left and right) for ease of printing.
The
main body of text should be a full write up of your presentation either as a
scientific paper (see below) or a detailed write up of your slide show.
Please
organize your write up in the following manner;

Author(s) name(s)
·
Contact details of corresponding author, address of
institution, email address and telephone number
·
Abstract- please include an updated version, not exceeding
200 words
·
Main text
·
Acknowledgements
·
References if relevant (for guidelines click here)
If
including graphs, tables or photographs, please place them in the text in the
appropriate location, including a caption explaining what they are and a
reference to them in the text.
