Website Editor Hello everybody. My name is
Angélica and I have been involved in environmental enrichment since 2000. I
have always been very moved by animals and started a biology university course
in order to understand more about them. In 2005, I finished my MSc and now I am
about to complete my Ph.D., always focusing on the effectiveness of
environmental enrichment techniques in the improvement of welfare. I am passionate about
carnivores and have worked with maned wolves for nine years. They are awesome,
as you can see in the picture. Now, I am a Shape –
Brasil committee member and my aim is to keep working and researching to find
and publicize better ways to improve and evaluate the welfare for captive
